DEAR FRIENDS AT 1ST CRC: Thank you for your generosity with your gifts to Resonate Global Mission! Your investment in God’s mission is helping the CRCNA grow in mission! Across this denomination, we see a growing passion for mission. Your gift comes at the right time to deepen that passion and get our churches excited about God’s mission. What’s more, giving through Resonate helps to strengthen our capability to join God’s mission! Your gift helps missionaries, church planters, and other ministry leaders worldwide live and share the gospel. Because you gave through Resonate, you are a part of the network of support that ensures ministries don’t just survive, but thrive! Churches like yours provide the strength and sustainability that unites our church on mission. When we come together-Resonate ministry leaders and Christians like you-the overall effect is that we amplify the message of God’s Word, so that it goes out in every direction like an expanding sound! We’re grateful to partner with you as you live out your faith through your gifts, prayers and support. Thank you! Rev. Zachary King, Director

GUIDING STAR: Cycle Shows are back! Upcoming dates are August 4 and Oct. 2 at New Hope Church in Orange City. The Cycle Show is an educational, interactive, multi-media, fertility awareness workshop for young girls, aged 9-13. It is a desirable additional to the standard sex education given in schools; its aim is to equip young girls with the knowledge of what is going on inside their bodies in relation to puberty. This knowledge then supports and prepares them in a positive way for the wonderful changes they will experience within their bodies over the coming years. It is more important than ever for young girls to have high self-esteem regarding their bodies, not just when they are in the middle of puberty, but before the onset. The beginning of sexual maturation is the ideal time for girls to learn about and appreciate all the amazing changes that are taking place within their bodies. Participation in the Cycle Show gives girls a healthy respect for their bodies and helps to protect them as they move into their teenage years. To register,
