WELCOME TO FIRST HULL: Jesus calls us to deny self and follow him in the way of the cross. May this worship strengthen us to serve our neighbors in love. Welcome!
THIS MORNING we have the joy of administering the sacrament of baptism to Parker Lynn Hoekstra, infant daughter of Andrew and Kenzie.
OUR GUEST ORGANIST this morning is Jan Van Otterloo. Jan grew up in our church and is the daughter of Melvin and Lucille. Thank-you Jan for sharing your talents with us!
THIS EVENING Pastor Loren’s message is from Psalm 119 titled “Seeking God with All My Heart”.
THIS EVENING we have the joy of hearing the public profession of faith of Logan Baccam, Teagan De Jager, Jake Emerick, Mitchell Fedders, Emma Westphal, and Dalton Westra.
THE NURSERY and surrounding rooms are available to parents with small children who need to take them out of the sanctuary. There will not be a nursery staff and toys will not be available.
UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE the East half of the sanctuary (youth building side) will be designated as a social distancing area during services. Both East and West halves will be seated every other bench until full, at which point remaining people will be seated in empty benches on the West half. Those who need to social distance due to age or health concerns are encouraged to sit on the East side. Members are reminded that the back 7 benches on both sides are reserved for families with small children.
THANK YOU: Over 31 years of fighting cancer, off and on, we, the family of Gary Roetman, want to say how grateful we are for each one of you. You all have been so faithful in praying for us, visiting us, encouraging us and supporting us in many different ways throughout this journey. Thank you, Pastor Kotman, for your many visits, prayers and calls. You have been such a blessing. Thank you to our Elders and Deacons who made many visits and calls to check up on us and extend a helping hand in any way needed. Thank you to Care Group 4 for the many ways you all showed your support and love! We never walked this long road, with its hills and valleys, alone! Our God never left our side and always provided. He continues to be Faithful, Kind and Compassionate, meeting us in our greatest time of need, with Comfort and Love. Gary lost his “battle” but was given the Ultimate Prize of spending Eternity with his Lord and Savior. The many expressions of sympathy and gifts given in Gary’s memory from this community will never be forgotten.
Thank you from the heart of each and every member of the Gary Roetman Family.
