WELCOME TO FIRST HULL:  Sisters and brothers in Christ, it is a joy to gather with you for worship! Please take a moment to greet those around you in the name of the Lord. A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.

THIS MORNING we welcome Rev. Mike Ribbens to our service. He will be giving a 10-minute presentation about his work.

THE EVANGELISM COMMITTEE will meet tonight at 5:00p in the Youth Building.

THIS EVENING we welcome Jamie Negus as he leads our service. His message is from Romans 7:14-8:1 titled “Struggling with Sin”.

LADIES/MEN who would like to help out at JFA on Tuesday, July 13, may meet in the upper parking lot of church at 12:45p to car pool.

THE SHARE GROUP for widows and widowers will meet on Thursday, July 15th, at 6:00p at St. Paul Lutheran Church. We will enjoy taverns and coney dogs for supper. Following our meal, we will hear a musical presentation from Ken Nielsen and family. Root beer floats will be served for dessert. Please consider bringing $5 to help cover expenses. COMMUNITY BULLETIN

FIRST CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:

We extend our Christian to all who mourn the passing of EllaMae Vande Burgt on Wednesday morning at Avera in Sioux Falls. The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, July 17, at 1:00p. Visitation is from 12:00-1:00p on Saturday at church.

Carol Reekers had an MRI on Monday, July 5. The MRI revealed two new spots in her brain which have since been treated with Gamma Knife Radiation. Doctors are encouraged that infusion therapy has been successful in shrinking other spots on the brain. Pray for continued healing.

Continue to remember Duck Lokhorst as she recovers from a fall several weeks ago. Pray for relief from the pain.

LuAnn De Wild spent a couple of days in the Sioux Center Hospital this past week. She is waiting for results on some heart tests that were taken. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and return to good health for LuAnn.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:

We praise God that Leo Boer, son of Greg and Jasmine Boer was able to return home on July 4th.  (updates on caring bridge)

We pray for our council, guest pastors, and the search for a new pastor.

We pray for those who worship from their homes. May they be filled with hope, and feel included as members of Hope.

ANNUAL ATLAS GOLF TOURNAMENT will be held on Monday, July 19, at the Ridge. Registration at 2:30p; Shot-gun start at 3:00p; 5:15p Catered Meal and 5:30p Awards. Cost is $100/person or $400/team. Please register at www.atlasofsiouxcenter.org or call 722-4900 if you’d like to have a team.

THE BIBLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL of the Tri-State area will host a concert featuring the Browns from Le Mars on Tuesday, July 27, at 7:00 PM. The concert will be held at the Unity Knight Center in Orange City. Tickets will be sold at the door - $14 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. A free-will offering will be taken at intermission for Bible League International.

THE BIBLE LEAGUE CHRISTMAS in July will be held on Monday, July 26, at 1:30 PM at the Faith Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center. You are asked to bring an item such as baked goods, crafts, plants, etc., to place on the silent auction tables. You will be given time to view the items and place your bids. Chaney Rader, Regional Field Director of Bible League International will be the featured speaker. After a year and more of no BLI events we are pleased to have Christmas in July again this year. Please give attending prayerful consideration and put the date on your calendar. This is such a worthy cause and needs our support!

CFE is looking to put together a small volunteer bank to help staff with client’s needs. CFE is a Christ centered nonprofit to help those in need of financial education and more. This could involve cleaning, laundry, transportation, errands, and miscellaneous chores. Anyone that may be interested or have questions can call 722-3527, 441-2485 or stop at the CFE office at 313 N Main, Sioux Center.

ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP NWIA is looking for volunteers for our 2021 camp. This camp has touched every heart that has ever entered it (campers and volunteers)! God has always provided for this camp through churches and in miraculous ways. The dates for the 2021 camp are August 2 through August 6. If you are interested in serving these kids, you can get more information at info@royalfamilykidsnwia.orgt to get an application. You can also go to their Facebook page.

ADVANCE NOTICE: Life Light will be in Rock Valley at the Sports Complex on Saturday, August 14th. This is a free music festival. Save the date!
