WELCOME TO FIRST HULL As Abraham and Sarah welcomed the Lord by the oaks of Mamre and were told they would have a son (Genesis 18), we welcome you to worship and we welcome God among us. Let us listen for God’s good news for today! A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.
WE WELCOME Nathan Nieuwendorp as he leads our evening worship service. His message is from Romans 3:21-26 titled “The Heart of the Gospel”.
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER: The communicant membership of Zachary De Jager was transferred, at his request, to the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. We wish him God’s blessing in his new church home.
LADIES/MEN who are able to help out at JFA in Rock Valley on Tuesday, July 23, may meet in the upper parking lot at church at 12:45p to car pool.
BIBLE LEAGUE CHRISTMAS in July will be held on Monday, July 29, at 1:30p at the Faith Reformed Church of Rock Valley. You are asked to bring an item such as baked goods, crafts, plants, etc., to place on the silent auction tables. You will be given time to view the items and place your bids. Sheri Ten Napel and Katie Haan will share what they experienced on their trip with Bible League International to Nicaragua. Hope to see many of you at this event.

THE BOYDEN/HULL SACK PACK BOARD is looking for a few more team members. The Sack Pack program provides sacks of food for kids at Boyden-Hull and Hull Christian to take home every weekend throughout the school year. The team members help line up groups to pack the sacks and meet about once a year to go over the program. The new members should be available to help out with groups who would like to pack during the daytime hours during the school year. If you are interested in being a part of the Sack Pack team or would like more information, contact one of the Sack Pack board members. Jarvis De Wild continues with radiation and chemo treatments. Pray the treatments will be effective and that the side effects will be minimal. Pray for healing.
Wilmar Pollema began a new chemo treatment on Tuesday. Give thanks that the treatment went well.
Give thanks that Russ Vander Schaaf is gaining strength. He is hopeful that the tubes can be removed this week.
Give thanks that the recent CT scan for Gary Roetman was clear. Continue to pray that Gary will get stronger.
Bob and Sharon Soodsma were thankful to learn that Sharon’s cancer is stage 1. The plan is to do a Lumpectomy on Wednesday, the 24th. Pray for healing.
Julianne Kats continues as a resident at Pleasant Acres. Pray for healing as she recovers from a compression fracture in her vertebrae.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
Lora Vis is hospitalized in St. Paul, MN, and is being treated for burns to her leg that she received in a motorcycle accident earlier this week. We are thankful that she and Paul were not more seriously injured. We pray for healing, patience, and encouragement as she recovers.
We give thanks that Marv Boon has been able to return to Prairie Ridge in Orange City. We pray for his continued recovery. We pray for Eileen as well as she supports her husband.
We keep Julie Horstman in our prayers as she continues her recovery from a broken leg. Please pray for her healing, encouragement, and patience.
Gerrit Van Der Zwaag, father of Cal Van Der Zwaag, continues his recovery. We pray for daily healing and progress. We pray for Cal and family as they support him.
We pray for those dealing with illness or continuing their recovery from surgery. We also pray for those who may be struggling emotionally. May God provide healing and wholeness.
We remember those who reside at home but aren’t able to join us from week to week. We also pray for their families as they support them.
