WELCOME TO FIRST HULL We’re here today because God has searched for and found us, as he did Adam and Eve, hiding in the Garden of Eden. Our Maker loves us and offers us lavish forgiveness. Welcome, friends. A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.

THIS MORNING we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. You are welcome to join us at the Lord’s table if you are truly sorry for your sins, sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as your Savior and desire to live in obedience to him. Gluten free bread will be available in the center section of each tray.

LADIES & MEN: We will be going to Justice for All on Tuesday, June 12. It would be appreciated if a couple of men would be willing to help out! Meet in the upper church parking lot at 12:45 to car pool.
RELAY FOR LIFE will be held at Wind Mill Park in Orange City on Wednesday, June 13, starting at 5:30p. Luminary bags may be purchased at American State Bank, Iowa State Bank and Lewis Drug Pharmacy in Hull.
BARGAIN ALLEY THRIFT STORE: Progress has been made at the Thrift Store and now we need a number of volunteers to help start setting the store up. First we need people to help clean. We will be cleaning walls and store fixtures as they are set up. Bring a bucket, brush, and a good rag. We also need people to help assemble shelving and attach slat wall. We will need people with drills. We will be working 9:00a-8:00p Thursday, June 14, and 9:00a-12:00 noon on Saturday, June 16. NEXT SUNDAY MORNING the Guatemala Serve Team will give a report during the morning service.
INSTALLATION of new Elders and Deacons will take place on Sunday morning, June 24th.
THE “SHARE” GROUP for widows and widowers will meet on Thursday, June 21, at 6:00p at Homestead Commons. Everyone is invited to bring a salad to share for supper. Dessert will be provided. Following our meal, we will hear a presentation from Sioux County Conservation Board Naturalist Sarah Davelaar on the wildlife and flowers of NW Iowa. FIRST CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
- We request your prayers for Belle Draayer who will have surgery on her neck on Wednesday, June 13, to reduce pain she has been having in her head due to arthritis.
- Lisa Wiersma is grateful for your prayers as she continues with chemo treatment. Give thanks that the side effects to the treatment have been minimal.
- Continue to pray for Florence Kroese as she recovers from a fall.
- Heath & Kayla Stoker would like to thank the entire church family for their continued support through their cancer journey. Heath’s treatments have been going very well. Kayla has set up a Caringbridge website for more information and updates. Please consider joining Heath & Kayla’s family and friends for a Community Impact Night at the Sioux Center Pizza Ranch on Monday, June 18th from 5:00-8:00p.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
- Continue to keep Heath Bonestroo, Trent Hulstein and Phil Bosma in your prayers. Pray for continued healing.
- Joanne Buyert continues her recovery at Pleasant Acres. She hopes to return back to her apartment when she is able. Pray for continued healing.
- Wilma Heynen is undergoing more testing in order to find the most effective treatment. Recent tests will take two or three weeks to process. Please pray for clear answers, effective treatment, and complete healing.
- Janet De Groot, mother of Doug De Groot, has moved to Royal Meadows in Sioux Center where she will continue her recovery.
- We continue to pray for strength and healing for Jemma Jean De Jong, daughter of Sarah and Todd De Jong, and granddaughter of Diana and Dave Kooima. Jemma had her 2nd surgery on June 7. Pray that the surgery went well.
- We remember our members who reside in care facilities: Marv Boon at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City, and Evelyn Dykstra in Byron Center Manor in Byron Center, MI. We also pray for their families as they support them.
Meat donation for HCS Rally Day Sale: For many years, we have been blessed with donations of beef and pork for our Rally Day Sale. If you would like to make a donation of meat to this year’s sale or give a donation towards purchasing meat and the processing costs, please contact Janelle De Wit (470-4121) or Jeremy Hulstein (439-2914).
The 2nd Annual Western Christian FFA Tractor ride will be held Saturday, July 7. Registration begins in the north parking lot at Western Christian at 8:00a. Riders will be leaving at 8:30a. Western is celebrating its 100th anniversary in August 2019. A book is being put together to commemorate this anniversary. As part of the book we would like to include memories from former and current students as well as former and current faculty. KINGDOM BOUNDARIES: On June 10 at 7:00p at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley there will be testimonials, a ministry update followed by a hymn sing/ice cream social. RSVP to Mark at 470-6662 with your favorite hymn and also how many are coming.
HOPE HAVEN 23rd Annual Gospel Music Festival will be held at Central Park in Sioux Center on June 15&16 with continuous music from 1:00p-9:30p on Friday and from 11:00a-9:30p on Saturday. Currently 20 different groups from 5 states are scheduled to sing. This is a benefit for Hope Haven and freewill offerings will be taken each day. A lunch stand will be open both days. In case of inclement weather, the Music Festival will be held at the Rec Center on the campus of Dordt College.
THE COLLINGSWORTH FAMILY will give a concert on Friday, June 29th, at Sioux Falls First Church (6300 W. 41st Street). Doors open at 6:00p and the concert begins at 7:00p. For tickets go to www.iTickets.com or call Corvex Productions at 605-359-7284. (See brochure on bulletin board.)
TEENS NEEDED!! Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, Dodge – return to your recess days. Sign you and your friends up for the 1st Annual Hull Summerfest Dodgeball Tournament!! Tournament will be held at the Hull Westside Park on Wed., July 11, at 7:00p. Players must be 13-19 years old. Six player teams with a 3 girl minimum. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and also for best team costume! There is a $25 registration fee that is completely refunded at check-in on the night of the tournament. Stick around after the tournament for Pizza Ranch pizza and late night swimming at the Hull Pool!!
