WELCOME TO FIRST HULL We worship in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – on this Trinity Sunday and always. Amen. A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.

THIS MORNING we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. You are welcome to join us at the Lord’s table if you are truly sorry for your sins, sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as your Savior and desire to live in obedience to him. Gluten free bread will be available in the center section of each tray.
TODAY is the last Sunday that Jon & Kait De Wild will be worshipping with us. We wish them well as they will be moving to Des Moines.
REMINDER: Remember to turn in your Christian Education term committee ballots TODAY to the mailbox of Darla Van’t Hul or Noah De Yager.
NEWLY ELECTED Elders & Deacons are requested to meet with the Council at 8:00p on Monday, June 12, to elect new officers for the year.

PUBLIC PROFESSION OF FAITH will be held next Sunday morning, June 18, for Jessica De Jager, Alyssa Fedders, Jerad Kats, Rachel Kats, Cassidy Van’t Hul, and Taylor Westphal.

NEXT SUNDAY EVENING, June 18, William Harrison Koedam, the infant son of Jacob and Abby Koedam, will receive the sacrament of baptism. We will also welcome Jacob as a member.
CARE GROUPS: With the election of new Elders & Deacons, I will be in need of new leaders/assistants. Please call the church office (439-1626) as soon as possible if you are willing to help out or would like additional information. THE EVANGELISM COMMITTEE would like to express their sincere thank you to all those who worked at the Banquet on Wednesday, June 7. It is a huge undertaking and takes a lot of planning and a lot of willing hands to make it all work. We were able to feed 465 hungry bodies and hopefully helped satisfy a few hungry souls. Thanks again to everyone who gave of their time and talents.
INSTALLATION of new Elders and Deacons will take place on Sunday morning, June 25.
LIVINGSTONE PRISON CHURCH OPPORTUNITY: Hull 1st will have the opportunity to worship with the men at the Livingstone Prison Church in the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield, SD on Tuesday, June 27. We will leave Hull at 2:30p and stop for supper before going in to worship. If you would like to attend the service, you will be required to complete DOC documents. Please contact Vell Keizer (439-2239 or 470-1408). Forms are due TODAY, June 11. Transportation will be provided.
THE SHARE GROUP for widows and widowers will meet Thurs., June 15, at 6:00p at Homestead Commons. We will enjoy sub sandwiches, salads, and root beer floats for supper. Following the meal, Pastor Aaron & Sarah Deutsch will show pictures and share memories from their trip to historical Protestant Reformation sites in Germany last month. Joyce Vander Well had surgery on her nose on Friday, June 9th. Pray for healing.
Eldon De Wild had his heart test on Tuesday and on Wednesday found out that it was good. The results are being sent to Madison VA to see if they will continue with the lung transplant. Please continue to keep Eldon and LuAnn in your prayers as they wait for answers.
Russ Vander Schaaf spent a few days in the VA Hospital due to kidney infection. Pray for healing.

We are thankful that Eileen Boon’s sister, Rosemary Harman, was able to come home. We pray for her continued recovery.
We pray for Jennifer and Kaysha Steiger and Lyla Boer in their continued recovery.
We are thankful that Trent Hulstein, infant son of Josh and Kaylee Hulstein, was able to return home this past week. We pray for them as they welcome him into their home.
Pray for Dave Mulder, brother in law to Marideth and Mike Van Otterloo, as he is being treated for cancer. Pray for his continued strength, patience and clear answers.
We remember our members who reside in care facilities: Mary Grooters at Pleasant Acres, Marv Boon at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City, and Evelyn Dykstra in Byron Center Manor in Byron Center, MI. We also pray for their families as they support them.
Meat donation for HCS Rally Day Sale: For many years, we have been blessed with donations of beef and pork for our Sale. Registration for the 1st annual Western Christian Tractor Ride begins Sat., July 1, at 8:00a at Western in the North parking lot. The ride will begin at 8:30a, start in Hull, go to Rock Valley, head for Inwood for a burger fry, travel to Alvord, and then back to Hull. Your registration fee of $30 for one person includes the ride, snack at break time, noon meal, and a Tractor Ride cap. THE MEMORY LOSS SUPPORT GROUP will be meeting on Wed., June 14, at Whispering Heights. This support group is open to anyone who lives with or cares for someone affected by dementia of any kind. For more information, please contact Melinda at 476-8214. New members are always welcome!
JOIN US FOR OUR Relay For Life of Sioux County Celebration event on Wed., June 14, at Hesla Field in Hull. Community Meal at 5:30, Opening Ceremonies and Survivor Walk at 7:00p - TONS of games, music, silent auction, cake walk, and FUN, followed by our Luminaria Ceremony at dusk.
HABITAT TIP-NIGHT at the Sioux Center Pizza Ranch on Monday, June 19. It’s a Community Impact Fundraising Event to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will be serving from 5-8 pm.
HOPE HAVEN is holding its 22nd Annual Gospel Music Festival at Central Park in Sioux Center on Friday and Sat., June 16 & 17. The festival will provide music from 1-9:30pm on Friday & 11am–9:30pm on Saturday. This is a benefit for Hope Haven and freewill offerings will be taken each day. A lunch stand will be open both days. In case of inclement weather, the Music Festival will be held at the Rec Center on the campus of Dordt.
HOPE HAVEN will be holding its annual Trail Ride on Sat., June 24, beginning in Fairview, SD at 10:00a and winding through the big Sioux Bluffs of IA and SD. The ride will conclude by 1:00p with a cowboy style meal and prize drawings at the Fairview City Park. We ask that you support this event by making a donation towards wheelchair sponsorships.
ADVANCE NOTICE: Kingdom Boundaries Prison Aftercare (KBPA) will be hosting a mini-festival celebrating 4 years of walking alongside men as they re-enter society after serving time in the South Dakota prison system on Sat., July 29, from 4:00-8:00p at New Day Church, 27365 472nd Ave., Harrisburg, SD. Music will be provided by Larry Olson and the Dakota Road Band, Mark Burright, a former resident of The Carpenter’s Shop (the housing portion of KBPA) and other individuals and groups to be announced. Dinner will be served with the meat provided by the Sioux County Pork Producers. Weather permitting this celebration will be held outdoors. Please bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, we will meet indoors at the New Day Church.
