WELCOME TO FIRST HULL Welcome to worship and Christian fellowship! Happy Father’s Day to dads, grandpas and father-figures who rely on our heavenly Father as their model of love and faithfulness. A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.
THIS MORNING Jessica De Jager, Alyssa Fedders, Jerad Kats, Rachel Kats, Cassidy Van’t Hul, and Taylor Westpahl will profess their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Following the service they will be serving cake in the church basement. Everyone is welcome to join them!
THIS EVENING Harrison William Koedam, infant son of Jacob and Abby, will receive the sacrament of baptism. We will also welcome Jacob as a member.
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE of council will be meeting in July to assign committee chairmen and members of the various church committees. If you no longer wish to be on a committee or if you would like to be on a committee, please contact Harry Meendering or Dave Kroese by July 1st.
NEWLY ELECTED members to the Christian Ed. Term Committee are Lisa Poppema and Waylon Pollema.
INSTALLATION of new Elders and Deacons will take place on Sunday morning, June 25.
AN IMPACT (Tip) NIGHT will be held at the Hull Pizza Ranch on Monday, June 26, from 5:00-7:30p for Eldon & LuAnn DeWild to help defray the costs associated with Eldon’s medical condition. Please come out and support them. Checks should be made out to the church. Modern Woodman will match the total donations up to $2500.00.
OFFICE HOURS: During the summer months I will be in the office on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00a to 3:30p. If you need to get a hold of me and I am not in, you can text or call me at 578-1835.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Faith Promise forms for 2017-18 should be returned to Seth Oostenink’s mailbox as soon as possible!
PARENTS: If you would like a DVD of your son/daughter’s profession of faith, please call the church office (439-1626) so that one can be made for you.
CARE GROUPS: With the election of new Elders & Deacons, I will be in need of new leaders/assistants. Please call the church office (439-1626) as soon as possible if you are willing to help out. Also, all leaders and assistants please call me to let me know if you are willing to continue as a leader/assistant. I need to have the care groups updated by July 1st. OUR CHUCH is responsible for the visit to Pleasant Acres Sunday afternoon, June 25. We have a speaker, pianist and need volunteers for special music. If any of you would like to share your gifts or the gifts of your children with our senior citizens, please contact Tim Kats (712-578-9728).
THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Vacation Bible School a success this year. We are so thankful for everyone who donated supplies, money, time, and prayer. Because of you, about 175 kids in our community heard the good news of Jesus!

LUKE & FIONA DE KOSTER will be in Hull the end of July. They have found a house to rent but are in need of a few items: a washing machine (doesn’t need to be new or beautiful and we don’t necessarily need a dryer), beds, pots/pans and assorted cooking things and towels, pillows, etc. We hope to borrow/return these things so we don’t have to store them. We extend our Christian sympathy to Ken and Belle Draayer in the passing of Ken’s sister-in-law, Lillian Draayer, of Rock Valley who passed away on Saturday, June 10th.
Congratulations to Carter & Jodi (Ver Burg) Pollema who were united in marriage on Friday evening, June 9. May God bless them with many happy healthy years together.
Dar Sohl had hip replacement surgery in Sioux Falls on Thursday, June 8. She was transferred to the Sioux Center Hospital on Monday to continue her recovery.
Give thanks that surgery for a hiatal hernia went well for Lois Salazar on Wednesday. Pray for healing.
Give thanks with Gary & Susan Roetman that recent tests revealed that Gary is still clear of visible signs of cancer. Pray for God’s continued blessing upon Gary and Susan.
Lawrence Vander Esch was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Lawrence will meet with doctors on Friday to determine a next step. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and for God’s healing.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
We are thankful that Eileen Boon’s sister, Rosemary Harman, was able to come home. We pray for her continued recovery.

Pray for Dave Mulder, brother in law to Marideth and Mike Van Otterloo, as he is being treated for cancer. Pray for his continued strength, patience and clear answers.
We remember our members who reside in care facilities: Mary Grooters at Pleasant Acres, Marv Boon at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City, and Evelyn Dykstra in Byron Center Manor in Byron Center, MI. We also pray for their families as they support them.
Meat donation for HCS Rally Day Sale: For many years, we have been blessed with donations of beef and pork for our Sale. Registration for the 1st annual Western Christian Tractor Ride begins Sat., July 1, at 8:00a at Western in the North parking lot. The ride will begin at 8:30a, start in Hull, go to Rock Valley, head for Inwood for a burger fry, travel to Alvord, and then back to Hull. Your registration fee of $30 for one person includes the ride, snack at break time, noon meal, and a Tractor Ride cap. HABITAT TIP-NIGHT at the Sioux Center Pizza Ranch on Monday, June 19. It’s a Community Impact Fundraising Event to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will be serving from 5-8 pm.
HOPE HAVEN will be holding its annual Trail Ride on Sat., June 24, beginning in Fairview, SD at 10:00a and winding through the big Sioux Bluffs of IA and SD. The ride will conclude by 1:00p with a cowboy style meal and prize drawings at the Fairview City Park. We ask that you support this event by making a donation towards wheelchair sponsorships.
KINGDOM BOUNDARIES PRISON AFTERCARE (KBPA) will be hosting a mini-festival celebrating 4 years of walking alongside men as they re-enter society after serving time in the South Dakota prison system on Sat., July 29, from 4:00-8:00p at New Day Church, 27365 472nd Ave., Harrisburg, SD. Music will be provided by Larry Olson and the Dakota Road Band, Mark Burright, a former resident of The Carpenter’s Shop (the housing portion of KBPA) and other individuals and groups to be announced. Dinner will be served with the meat provided by the Sioux County Pork Producers. Weather permitting this celebration will be held outdoors. Please bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, we will meet indoors at the New Day Church.
