COMMUNITY BULLETIN

FIRST CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:

The doctor was pleased with the healing that Sharon Soodsma has experienced so far. Sharon was scheduled to have an MRI on Thursday, June 18, to confirm that the infection is taken care of. Pray for good results.

Pray for Sally De Groot. Because of weight loss and her skin being thin, she easily suffers skin abrasions.

Remember all those in our congregation who are confined to their homes as well as those in nursing homes or in assisted living as they are unable to have visitors at this time due to COVID-19. This is a difficult time for them so a phone call or a note from members of the congregation would be appreciated!

Give thanks that healing for Diane Bonestroo’s foot is progressing well.

On Wednesday, Gary Roetman’s left lung showed no air movement resulting in dropped oxygen levels. Gary and Susan went to Omaha on Thursday so doctors could help get his left lung opened up and working. Pray that Gary would be able to breathe better and for healing.

Lois Salazar was able to begin her oral chemo. Pray for no side effects and the desired results of remaining in remission.

Give thanks that Berdena Bylsma is recovering well from a recent fall. She is scheduled to have a new pacemaker inserted on Wednesday. Pray the procedure goes well and for better health.

LeRoy Jongetjes is scheduled for knee replacement surgery on Thursday, June 18, in Sioux Falls. Pray for a good and speedy recovery.

Orv Vant Hul is scheduled for outpatient surgery in Sioux Falls on Wednesday to remove some skin cancer on his foot. Pray for healing.

We extend our Christian sympathy to Orv and Arlene Vant Hul in the passing of Orv’s brother-in-law, Louis Altena, of Rock Valley on Thursday morning.

Pray for our shut ins: PA: Verne Huisman, Chuck & Darlene Kroese; Aspen Heights: Joyce De Vries, Wilma Grevengoed, Al & Jacoba Rens, Goldie Veldman; Whispering Heights: Sally De Groot; Sheldon Care Center: Julianne Kats; Rick Rozeboom’s home: Esther Rozeboom; Royale Meadows in Sioux Center: Ed Scholten; Sioux City: Ardelle Westra.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS

Gary Roetman, father of Matt Roetman, continues to be treated for cancer. We pray he responds well to treatment and for healing. We pray for his wife, Susan, and family as they support him.

We pray for our families. Some have significant challenges in their lives for a variety of reasons. Let us pray for peace, stability, healing, and restoration.

We pray for those who join us in worship from their homes. Whether they are unable to attend or are taking appropriate precautions due to age or illness, we pray for the Lord’s presence and care in their lives.
