CHILDREN’S CHURCH TEACHERS AND HELPERS NEEDED: Please prayerfully consider being a part of this exciting children’s ministry in our church! We would love to have you share your passion for the Lord by guiding our youth in worship and ministering God’s word to them during this critical time of spiritual development in their lives. Teachers are asked to sign up once every 5-6 weeks, and teaching materials will be provided. Helpers (upper elementary/high school students or adults) will be contacted by the teachers when needed. If you are interested, please contact Lynette Feenstra at 578-9383 by the end of June. This is definitely a fun and important way to invest in the youth of First CRC! All children 3 years old-2nd grade are invited to attend Children’s Church every Sunday evening in the church basement!

THANK YOU to the congregation for your prayers, cards, food and phone calls following my recent gall bladder surgery. Thank you to Pastors Kotman and Ouwinga and Elders Scholten & Westra for their calls. Thank you also to my care group for the gift card. It was all very much appreciated!  -Bennett & Karen Bruxvoort

THANK YOU: We want to thank you for praying for us regarding our upcoming plans to go to PNG in July and August. Due to the ongoing COVID restrictions of the PNG government, however, we are not able to go to PNG to do the training we had been planning. We are now making plans to do this training in October-November if travel in PNG opens up by then. In the meantime, we are working with our media team via the Internet, and Lauren is preparing training materials for the on-line media training he will be leading to train media teams in various other countries. – Lauren & Connie  Runia
