WELCOME TO FIRST HULL “O come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. Kroese. Pastor’s message is from Acts 2:22-24, 36-41 titled “Baptism: What It Means, Who It’s For”.

SPECIAL OFFERING will be taken next Sunday, March 26, for our church’s GUATEMALA PROJECT which is coming up in June. Please find a more detailed list of the project costs, as well as other needed items for this project in your church mailbox. Please give as God leads you and help bless those who are trapped in a life of poverty and hopelessness.
SAVE THE DATE: The YPS would like to invite all Senior Citizens to a night of games, fellowship and food on Wednesday, March 29, at 7:00p at the Youth Building.
MINNIKOTA YOUTH & DORDT invite 6th-8th graders to the 7th Annual Jr. High Retreat April 7-9 at Inspiration Hills. This is an opportunity for students to come together and worship, serve, and meet new friends. COUNCIL NOTES: MARCH:
Elder Dave Kroese and Deacon Brody Pollema gave a report on the March 4 Classis meeting they attended at Calvary CRC Orange City, IA.
To date, 11 members have completed the 2017 CRC denominational survey. The Council encourages all members to complete the survey which can be found at crcna.org/survey. Deadline is March 31st.
THE CONGREGATION is invited to an organ and panfluet concert on Wed., April 5, in the Dordt Auditorium at 7:30p. Admission is free. The express purpose of this concert will be to raise funds for Word and Deed Ministries – an inter-denominational Christian relief organization that has as its mission “to address the spiritual and physical needs of people in the developing world in accordance with biblical principles”. A free will offering will be taken during the concert. Thanks to local businessmen all concert-related expenses have been covered. 100% of the funds collected will be donated to Word & Deed Ministries’ Children’s Project in Ecuador.

Esther Rozeboom was admitted to the Sioux Center Hospital on Wednesday with an infection. Pray for healing.
Eldon De Wild will be going to Madison, WI, leaving March 27 and having tests done at the VA on March 28-30th. They plan to return home by the weekend. The doctors plan to meet the next week to decide on the transplant.
Faye Kroese continued her recovery from surgery. Pray for continued healing.
Gert Zevenbergen continues under the care of hospice at Pleasant Acres. Pray that Gert will be comfortable.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
Bob Marks is doing well after a heart procedure. He has been medically cleared to go back to work. We give thanks to God for healing.
Congratulations to Gina and David Van Lingen in the birth of a daughter, Natalie Mae, Thursday evening, March 9. We give thanks that baby and mother are well. We praise God for this gift of life!
We pray for continued healing for Henk Pastoor, father of Vanessa Steiger, and for Dave Mulder, brother in law to Mike and Merideth Van Otterloo as they recover from cancer treatments and surgery.
We remember our members who reside in care facilities: Mary Grooters at Pleasant Acres, Marv Boon at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City, and Evelyn Dykstra in Byron Center Manor in Byron Center, MI. We also pray for their families as they support them.

OPERA Iowa is coming to Sioux Center to perform Rossini’s comedic masterpiece, The Barber of Seville (sung in English). The education touring troupe will present the 2 hour performance on Tuesday, March 21, at 7:30p in the Dordt Auditorium. This family friendly performance is free and open to the public.
