WELCOME TO FIRST HULL Hosanna! Today we join centuries of the faithful in praising Jesus, who comes among us as a humble servant. A nursery and quiet room are available in the basement. TV’s are available so that the service can be viewed. We invite everyone to join us for fellowship & coffee after the morning service in the church basement.
NOTICE: There will be NO SUNDAY REHEARSAL TODAY for the Easter Cantata! We will meet at First CRC on Wednesday, March 23, at 7:00p for our final big rehearsal!
THIS EVENING the Valley Male Chorus will be participating in the service. Following the service, refreshments will be served in the basement.
NEXT SUNDAY EVENING come and worship with us at the Community Easter Cantata. Watch the Easter story come alive as we recount Jesus’ final breath on the cross, celebrate HIS victory of death’s stronghold, and declare with confidence, IT IS FINISHED! The offering will be for the American Cancer Society & Relay for Life.

NOTICE: The annual Cadet-o-Rama will again be held in the Rock Valley clubhouse and bus barn March 23. All Cadets & their families are invited to attend. There will be a derby race (weigh-in is from 6:30-7p with races starting at 7p, an archery competition, a marksmanship competition, and a craft. There will NOT be an outlaw race this year, but there WILL be a concession stand with tavern, popcorn, hotdogs, pop, and candy available.
WE ARE IN NEED of people to attend the Gospel Mission on March 30th. We are especially looking for anyone who would like to offer their musical talents for the special music portion. Please consider this opportunity to serve God.

CORNERSTONE PRISON CHURCH OPPORTUNITY: Hull 1st is planning a visit to the Cornerstone Prison Church located in the SDSP in Sioux Falls on Fri., Apr. 8. FIRST CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
Congratulations to John & Lindsey Pfingsten in the birth of a daughter, Aspen Grace, on Friday, March 11.
We extend our Christian sympathy to Marge & Lawrence Vander Esch and Megan and Travis Kooima in the passing of Marge’s stepmother, Grace Huenink. Funeral services were held on Friday at the CRC in Hawarden. We pray for God’s comfort.
Continue to keep Elaine Schaffer, sister of Anna Dirksen, in your prayers. She submitted to several recent surgeries for bleeding/swelling on the brain.
Cliff Gort spent a few days in the heart hospital in Sioux Falls. Doctors did a balloon procedure to remove scar tissue from a stent. He is back home again and doing well.
Henry Brinks was discharged from the swing bed program at the Rock Valley Hospital and is now a resident at Whispering Heights in Rock Valley.
Continue to keep Jeanette Boogerd in prayer. She is currently at Pleasant Acres (Room 101) due to fracturing her hip. Pray for continued strength.
Continue to remember Joyce Kroese in your prayers. Pray for continued strength and better health.
Give thanks that a recent CT scan for Gary Roetman showed no cancer. Gary will continue with the same chemo routine.
Remember Sam Scholten in your prayers as he serves our country at Fort Bragg.

HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS:
We keep Jan Bakker in our prayers as she has tests and meets with an oncologist this week.
We extend our sympathy to Dwight & Jan Bakker, Ben & Jill Christoffels, Nathan & Chanda Bakker, and family in the passing of step-mother and grandmother, Thelma Bakker, of Jenison, MI, who passed away last week after a stroke. The funeral was held this week in Michigan. We pray for God’s comfort.
We pray for Marv and Eileen Boon as Marv adjusts to his new living arrangement at Fieldcrest in Sheldon. If you’d like to visit, please contact Eileen first.
Please keep Tasha Hulstein and her unborn child in your prayers as she remains on bed rest at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Visits are welcome, but if you have any cold or flu symptoms, please wait until you are well. We keep her husband, Corey, and the rest of the family in our prayers as well.
We also continue to remember our members who reside in care facilities: Hermina Hulstein and Mary Grooters at Pleasant Acres and Harriet Kooiker at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City. We also pray for their families as they support them.
HCS will be having an informational night and registration for Little Blessings Preschool the evening of March 22, from 6:30-7:30p. Mrs. Boer will be making a presentation at 7:00p regarding the daily activities of preschool. You can pre-register using the form found on our webpage (hullchristian.com) under the heading Forms and Documents. This pre-registration form will be posted on March 15 at 9:00a. Western Christian High School’s Eighth Grade Day will be held on Thursday, April 7, and will begin with a Praise and Worship service with our student body at 2:45p. All 8th graders, regardless of their high school plans, are invited to visit Western on that day. CORNERSTONE PRISON CHURCH Faith Fellowship Weekend will be held Friday, April 15 from 6:00-8:00p and April 16&17 from 7:15a-4:00p each day.
