A native of rural Montana, Pastor Aaron grew up the youngest of a large Christian family on a dairy farm.
After graduating from Manhattan Christian School (1993), he attended the College of Technology of Montana State University—Billings, graduating from the Diesel Tech program (1996). Thinking his career would remain in some facet of the agricultural industry in Montana, he secured a job with a local equipment dealer. However, God had other plans for the trajectory of his life. Pastor Aaron felt a firm call to ministry as he grew in his walk with God.
That call included a move to Michigan to attend Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College) (2005) and Calvin Theological Seminary (2010). While in Michigan, he met and married his wife, Michelle. They have four children: Ariana, Caleb, Eli, and Katelyn.
Pastor Aaron was ordained on October 10, 2010 (10/10/10). He has led two other congregations, one in Michigan and one in Minnesota.
Pastor Aaron understands his call to ministry through the words of Ephesians 4:11-12, “And he [God] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…” He does this primarily by preaching God’s Word and building relationships with people as the church does ministry together.
